About the event
Founded in the 1990s by trumpeter Steven Bernstein, Sexmob has released multiple recordings and performed internationally. The group’s music combines jazz improvisation with material drawn from film music, popular songs, and original compositions. Bernstein is also known for his work with groups including the Lounge Lizards, Millennial Territory Orchestra, and collaborations across jazz, experimental, and downtown New York music scenes.
This concert presents Sexmob in a live setting as part of the 2026 Hamptons JazzFest season. Humanity really said “what if jazz got weird, cinematic, and slightly chaotic in the best possible way,” and Sexmob answered the call.
