Marta Sanchez is a pianist, composer, and bandleader originally from Madrid, Spain, and based in New York City. Known for her work in contemporary jazz and creative improvised music, Sanchez has released multiple recordings as a leader and has performed internationally in both solo and ensemble settings.

Her compositions combine structured melodic writing with improvisation, drawing from jazz traditions alongside contemporary classical and modern creative music influences. In addition to leading her own ensembles, she has collaborated with a wide range of musicians across the New York jazz scene.
