Ari Hoenig is a drummer, composer, and educator known for his highly interactive approach to modern jazz and improvisation. Over the course of his career, Hoenig has performed and recorded with artists including Chris Potter, Joshua Redman, Pat Martino, Kurt Rosenwinkel, and Kenny Werner, while also leading his own ensembles internationally.

Featured with the quartet are tenor saxophonist Tivon Pennicott, guitarist Yoav Eshed, and bassist Ben Tiberio, all active performers and collaborators within the contemporary jazz scene. Together, the group combines modern harmonic language, rhythmic flexibility, and deep ensemble communication through both original compositions and reimagined standards.

Known for his melodic approach to drumming and rhythmic experimentation, Hoenig leads performances that move fluidly between straight ahead swing, odd meter exploration, and spontaneous improvisation, creating a quartet sound that is both tightly connected and constantly evolving.
